Office Manager
Debbie has been in the dental field for over 30 years, and really enjoys making people smile. Outside of work she enjoys spending time with family and friends, going to arts and crafts festivals, reading and walking for causes. She is also known as” Aunt Debbie” to her niece and nephew and all of their friends.
Cheuk
Dental Hygienist
Cheuk graduated from the NYU College of Dentistry dental hygiene program, and is proud to have been cleaning the world’s teeth since 2006. Originally from China, Cheuk was raised in Queens and recently moved with her family to New Hyde Park. A city girl at heart, she is enjoying suburban life with hubby and two children.
A fan of Indie films/music, Jazz, Bossa Nova, & Family Guy, Cheuk loves to travel and explore food cultures around the world (42 countries & counting) and hopes to be lucky enough to see the rest of the world. Her favorite quote: “Smile while you still have teeth”
Liana
Dental Hygienist
Liana received her dental hygiene degree from NYU Dental School and has been practicing as a Registered Dental Hygienist for the past 22 years. Liana is trained and skilled in providing periodontal therapy including the use of Laser treatment, and has been a part of The Varano dental family for 10 years.
She is known for her gentle touch and friendly chairside manner which helps her patients feel more relaxed and comfortable during their visit. There is nothing more gratifying to her than educating and helping her patients.
In her free time she enjoys spending time with her husband, two children and her Dog. She loves traveling with her family, bike riding and spending time at the beach.
Melessia
Dental Hygienist
Melessia received her dental hygiene degree from Eugenia María de Hostos Community College in 2018. Since then she has enjoyed interacting with patients and making them feel comfortable. When she’s not making healthier smiles, in her free time she enjoys spending quality time with her family and loves eating different types of food. She loves arts and crafts, watching romcoms and is a huge Marvel fan.
